His life story
Ihab Halabi was born on December 5, 1982, in the village of Yarka in the Western Galilee. He was the brother of Ashraf, Manal, Salman, Wafaa, Maha, and Razi, and a beloved son to his parents.
On March 12, 2001, Ihab enlisted in the IDF, and served as a soldier in the infantry. He fulfilled his duty with loyalty, responsibility, and great dedication to the country and his fellow unit members.
Sergeant Ihab Halabi was killed in the line of duty on September 16, 2018, and he was only thirty-five years old.
He was laid to rest in the cemetery in Yirka.
He left behind his parents, three sisters and three brothers – and a proud family that mourns his passing and carries his memory in their hearts forever.
