His life story

Son of Fares and Della. Born on November 25, 1958 in Shfaram, the fifth of seven children in his family. He grew up and was educated in the city, and when he reached the age of eighteen he enlisted in the IDF and served as a soldier.

During his military service, he participated in various operations and campaigns, and after his regular service, he continued his permanent service in the northern sector. Throughout his years of service, he held a variety of significant positions and contributed greatly to the campaigns in which he served. For Ridan, serving in the IDF was a mission and a supreme value, and he dedicated his life to the security of the country.

In November 1982, he married Nadia, and the two had three children – Amid, Omima, and Manar. He was a devoted father, and made sure to instill in his children the values of family, love of homeland, respect for the law, and commitment to the security of the country.

Ridan was a central and beloved figure in his family. His family members saw him as someone they could trust, turning to him for advice and drawing on his experience and the vast knowledge he had accumulated over the years. He would help anyone who approached him, always with generosity and dedication.

In 2000, he fell seriously ill and was forced to end his military service after years of service. For about seven years, he fought the disease with courage and great willpower, until he passed away on September 18, 2007, at the age of 49.

Ridan was laid to rest in the civil cemetery in Shfaram. He left behind a wife and three children.

Ridan's legacy lives on through his family, through the values he instilled in his children, and through the years of service he dedicated to the security of the country.
