His life story
Son of Zaher and Salem. Born in Shfaram on January 4, 1925. He completed his elementary education in his village in 1944.
As an adult, Saleh married Kamala and started a family of ten with her. He invested heavily in the education of his children and cared for each of them with devotion and love.
On May 19, 1970, at the age of 45, Saleh enlisted in the Border Guard and served as a police officer for special duties (STP). During his service, he moved between several different units, and performed his duties diligently and with dedication. He was a quiet and pleasant man, beloved by both his colleagues in the unit and his community.
In his free time, Saleh loved to spend time with his family, play board games with his children, listen to quiet music, and travel around the country.
On September 9, 1974, while on guard duty, Saleh slipped and injured his back, which paralyzed his lower body. Despite the doctors' efforts, his condition did not improve, and on November 10, 1975, after medical intervention at Rambam Hospital in Haifa, Saleh died.
He was fifty years old when he died. Saleh was buried in the family plot in Shfaram. He left behind his wife Kamla and eight children: Laviv, Adib, Adib, Shariv, Salim, Hagala, Nazia and Anis.
