His life story
Fuad Rakad Atallah was born on October 21, 1974 in Yirka, the son of devoted parents and the brother of Manal, Majid, and Rami. He grew up and was educated in the village, and was a quiet, responsible, and generous-hearted child who was loved by his family and everyone around him.
On October 22, 1998, he joined the Israel Prison Service (IPS), where he performed his duties with dedication, responsibility, and a deep sense of mission. His colleagues described him as a moral, professional, and caring person, who was always ready to help and support everyone around him.
Captain Fuad Rakad Atallah fell in the line of duty on September 29, 2006, at the age of only thirty-two. He was laid to rest in the civilian cemetery in Yirka.
