Ben Bikha and Ali. Born on December 15, 1975 in the village of Peki'in, where he grew up, studied and matured. He was a kind-hearted, beloved and dominant boy among his friends, who always looked for ways to contribute to others and the community around him. He graduated from Peki'in High School as an excellent student, but he not only excelled in his studies - he also excelled as a talented athlete, especially in soccer. He devoted many hours to training and games, initiated competitions among the youth in the village, and dreamed of studying at the Wingate Institute so that he could return and become a physical education teacher in his village.

Wissam was very involved in community life and was active in the local scout movement. He took part in various activities, organized and initiated events himself, and was always ready to help and support. The villagers, of all religions and ethnicities, appreciated and loved him for his manners, maturity, and respectful nature. His friends saw him as an older brother—a responsible, intelligent, and attentive man who was always there for them.

In August 1994, Wissam enlisted in the IDF, imbued with motivation and a desire to contribute. He was assigned to the Givati ​​Brigade, quickly integrated into the military framework, and was considered an outstanding soldier, loved and respected by his commanders and comrades. He planned to attend an officer course and continue his military career.

On September 26, 1996, Wissam was mortally wounded by gunfire from terrorists in the Gaza Strip. Four days later, on September 30, he died of his wounds at Soroka Hospital. He was twenty-one years old when he fell. His comrades, Sergeant Amikam Amior, Sergeant Dimitri Grezhdansky, Sergeant Chen Koren, and Sergeant Yehuda Levi, fell with him. Wissam was laid to rest in the Peki'in Military Cemetery, leaving behind his parents and nine brothers and sisters - Salman, Jamil, Salwa, Jamila, Nada, Fadia, Yusra, Samia, and Sami.

His commander said about him: "Wissam was a man who always aspired to help others. The smile never left his face, even in the most difficult moments. He carried out every task with dedication and excellence, and served as an example to his comrades. On the day he was injured, he was the first to arrive at the scene of the incident to assist his comrades under fire – with the courage, responsibility and calmness that characterized him. He was a modest, serious commander, who never boasted, but it was clear in him that he was born to lead. For his excellence, he received the Medal of Excellence at the end of advanced training."
