His life story

Son of Naifa and Samour. Born in Shfaram on February 22, 1963. He completed his elementary education with honors at the local school, and then continued his middle school education at the Reali School in Haifa. He completed his high school education at the school in Shfaram. As the eldest son in a family of seven children, Nabil received great love and support from all family members and grew up in a warm and protective atmosphere. He invested a lot in his studies and hobbies, and was a diligent, thoughtful student who was loved by his friends. One of his teachers wrote about him after his fall: "He was a diligent student, a thoughtful young man, a symbol for his friends and met all the requirements. He respected others, his teachers and maintained good relations with his friends. He always helped anyone who needed him."

In November 1981, Nabil enlisted in the IDF. He first served in the Paratroopers Corps, and in July 1982, after a health defect was discovered, he was transferred to the position of translator in the military administration in Tyre. In fulfilling his duties, he demonstrated dedication and professionalism, and ensured that the connection between military needs and the difficulties and problems of the local residents was stabilized.

On November 11, 1982, in the first Tyre disaster, a gas tank exploded in the military government building in the city of Tyre, causing the building to collapse. Dozens of IDF soldiers were killed in the explosion, including Nabil, who was 19 years old when he died. He was initially buried in the civilian cemetery in Shfaram, and at the request of his family, his body was transferred a year later to the military cemetery in Isfahan. He left behind his parents, two brothers, and four sisters.

In his memory, a corner was named after him in the public library in Shfaram, and his father published a booklet in his memory.
